Dr. Jeff Sciberras graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Optometry Doctorate in 1999. While attending undergraduate studies at McGill University, he earned the distinction of Canadian Scholar.
Dr. Sciberras completed his residency at the prestigious Barnett-Dulaney Eye Hospital in Arizona. He helped serve underprivileged areas in Jamaica and in Mexico with I Care International. Dr. Sciberras has a special interest in pediatric Optometry, because of the importance of vision to a child’s ability to learn. Dr. Sciberras is licensed in the use of topical therapeutic pharmaceutical agents for the treatment of eye diseases, including glaucoma, keratitis, iritis, conjunctivitis, uveitis, episcleritis, allergy, and dry eye.

Since 2007, Dr. Sciberras has aimed to provide the highest quality of comprehensive eye care, with a desire to utilize leading eye care technologies and the delivery of quality eye care products. Recent technology investments include OCT, which allows earlier diagnosis and greater in-house management capabilities. This includes axial length tracking in children to better manage their myopia and associated risks: corneal shape mapping or tomography, to better fit contact lenses and diagnose and track keratoconus, more precise candidacy determinations for refractive surgery such as LASIK: angle measurement and disease monitoring in glaucoma, retinal detachment, cataract, vitreous detachment, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.

We also offer patients a choice in how their eye pressure is measured, by air puff or painless touch tonometry. Our slit-lamp camera allows us to take anterior photos of ocular structures to track and educate patients on their eye health, disease, and risk factors.

Jaymie is fueled by faith, curiosity, and really enjoys good classic novels. When she’s not serving as the office manager, you’ll likely find her chasing the next adventure with her husband —whether that’s exploring a new city, trying an unfamiliar dish, or soaking up nature’s beauty. Guided by a love for God and a genuine care for others, she finds joy in the little things and sharing that positivity with others. Jaymie is our most senior staff member and has contributed greatly to the efficient running of the clinic and excels in all aspects of patient care.
Ajulu was born in Ottawa and has her degree in Bachelor of Health Sciences and over six years of clinical eye care experience. She is dedicated to providing a high-quality, caring experience to each patient coming in for a visit. She supports patients through every step of their visit, from registration, insurance billing, and diagnostic testing – ensuring a smooth, hassle-free experience. Known for her attention to detail and warm communication style, Ajulu is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-focused care. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, reading, listening to music, and staying active.
Divya is an Optometric Assistant with over 10 years of experience in patient care, clinical practice, and education. She currently supports patients and daily clinic operations. Before moving to Canada, she worked as an optometrist and educator in India. Divya holds a Master’s in Optometry from ITM University, Raipur, and is currently working toward her optician’s license. She values continuous learning and strives to provide thoughtful, attentive care to every patient. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring new places and spending time with family at beach picnics.
Jenny was born and raised in Manila, Philippines, where she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree in 1997 from Centro Escolar University in the Philippines. She emigrated to Canada in 2011 and joined Dr. Sciberras’ team in 2018 as an Optometry Dispensing Assistant. Jenny blends clinical expertise with a genuine passion for helping people. She loves guiding patients to eyewear that matches their personal style, vision needs, and lifestyle She is committed to making eyecare approachable for every person she meets. Outside the clinic, she stays active with her husband and two lovely daughters —c amping, hiking, biking, swimming, and playing sports together. She’s also a pet lover, music enthusiast, and culinary explorer.
Joy is our friendly and knowledgeable frame consultant. She has a keen eye for style (pun intended). She enjoys helping clients find eyewear that fits their visual needs, hobbies, and personal look. She is committed to delivering a positive, no-pressure experience in selecting an ideal frame. Joy holds a Doctor of Optometry Degree from Abia State University, Nigeria, and has practiced in the optometry field for over ten years in the UAE and Nigeria. Outside of work, Joy enjoys music, history, and athletics. Joy is the newest member of our team and has been a great assistant to Dr. Sciberras.
