Nuance Audio Makes It’s Debut

We are so pleased to announce that we are now carrying Nuance Audio Frames.  Their ground-breaking design merges vision and audio enhancement.  It is meant to enhance your surroundings to benefit those with early to moderate hearing loss.  The technology is offered in 2 contemporary styles, with 3 sizes.  Both models come in dark blue, warm red, and glossy black.  Here are some of the benefits:

1. It doesn’t look like a hearing aid.
The hearing technology is integrated into the temples of the glasses with an open-ear design. Nothing sits inside the ear canal. That solves one of the great impediments to patients seeking hearing assistance who need it – overcoming the stigma.

2. Offering a 2-for-1 solution.
Rather than managing separate glasses and hearing devices, Nuance combines the two. Prescription lenses can be fitted to the frames, including options like Transitions or office lenses.

3. It’s designed to help with speech in challenging environments.
Nuance utilizes a speaker array to focus on speech and reduce background noise. That’s an important distinction when talking to a patient who says, “I hear fine one-on-one, but I can’t follow conversations in public spaces.”

4. You can personalize the experience.
The Nuance Audio app allows patients to adjust their hearing settings to personalize how the glasses respond to different sound situations.

5. It’s aimed at mild-to-moderate hearing loss.
Nuance is an OTC hearing-aid solution intended for adults with signs of mild-to-moderate hearing loss—not a replacement for all types of conventional hearing-aid or audiology solutions.

“We already take care of how you see. Now we can offer a way to help you hear more comfortably, too—without asking you to give up the glasses you already rely on, while cleverly concealing your hearing aids.”

“If you wear glasses and you’ve started having trouble following conversations—particularly in noisy environments—there’s now an interesting option called Nuance Audio. It’s eyewear with hearing technology built right into the frame. It uses microphones and open-ear speakers to help make speech clearer, while your prescription lenses can be incorporated into the glasses. Vision correction and discreet hearing support in one pair of eyeglasses.”
