Contact lenses are a medical device.  As such, they need to be properly fitted, maintained and evaluated over time.  Dr. Sciberras is well versed in the fitting of all types of contact lenses, including soft lenses, hard or RGP lenses, and bifocal contact lenses.  Today's contact lenses can be used to correct nearsightedness/myopia, farsightedness/hyperopia, astigmatism, presbyopia or loss of reading ability, and keratoconus.  

Dr. Sciberras is a contact lens wearer himself and has been for the past 20 years.  Dr. Sciberras is always looking to adopt the latest in lens technology and materials, in an effort to bring the best products for ocular health, convenience and visual clarity to his patients.  Dr. Sciberras will personally train new wearers to contact lenses and feels strongly about the benefits of wearing contacts for recreational activities and the safety of extended wear lenses.  

Only after a thorough eye health exam and an understanding of your visual needs will Dr. Sciberras know which contact lenses will be best for your overall eye health, vision and lifestyle needs.

Most contact lens prescriptions can be fitted immediately in-office with trial lenses.  Once ordered, most lenses are available pick up in just two business days.  Alternatively, home delivery can be arranged.
